POVERTY REDUCTION TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMIC BASE OF HIV/AIDS INFECTED AND AFFECTED HOUSEHOLDS
This project involved multi-countries, with its main focus to reduce burden of households living with HIV/AIDS affected and infected people through improvement of their socio-economic status by establishing income generating activities for the host families as well as providing relief items to the orphans and destitute children.
This was a multi-countries implemented project which involved Kenya, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Somali and Eritrea. It commenced in 2005 and ended in 2006, directly funded by the European commission under block grants through COSV an Italian international organization, management of the project was through Konam-Kenya a regional representative.
